Jahan is a born and raised New Yorker and loves sharing that fact…even when no one else cares! She’s never not reading two to four books simultaneously, summer is her favorite season, and as her younger sister tells her – she suffers from “eldest daughter syndrome” (if you know, you know). Nourishing conversations and good food make her come alive.

Jahan is the co-founder of Joyous Rebellion, an experiential design company that creates soulful low-tech and high-impact intimate events that are “an antidote to the internet”. Partnering with dynamic industry leaders and people-first organizations, Joyous Rebellion creates bespoke, intimate gatherings centered around a meaningful theme and meal, leaving attendees feeling expansive and uplifted. Our flagship gatherings are evocative, narrative-forward experiences with multiple acts, playing on an alchemy of sense memory, intuition, creativity, and play.

Jahan has over twenty years experience in hospitality, editorial, experiential design and facilitation and loves to share stories and insights as a way to inspire others. Prior to Joyous Rebellion, she was the co-founder of Project Inkblot a consultancy partnering with tech and media companies (past clients include: Shopify, Kickstarter, Comcast, Anomaly Advertising) to build equitable products and services using their proprietary framework, Inkblot Design™(ID). She has created and led dozens of virtual and IRL programs on equity, design and technology and led keynote addresses at design conferences like HOW Design and DesignTo, as well as being featured on podcasts from Design Better to Tech Wrap Queen.
